The road to Northern Kenya
At KKC, we’ve seen how a filling school lunch, day after day, can quietly transform the lives of our students.
Most of the schools we work with reside on the Rift Valley floor in south-central Kenya. But in the last few years, we’ve begun expanding our program into the arid region of Northern Kenya, where life is hot and lean.
With long miles of scraggy roads and stunning heat, reaching the northern edges of the country is no small feat. But as our friend and filmmaker, Krugs, says, “You do not make this trip because it is easy. You do it because you believe the children at the end of the road are worth the difficulty.”
Hitch a ride with Krugs and supplier Harrison in this video as they bring the promise of school lunch to children in the north.
Thank you for sharing our desire to see students thrive even in the most arid stretches of Kenya. We’re excited to watch God continue to move in their lives.
